West Wind Acres believe in challenging the status quo in all that we do! We challenge the status quo by allowing our animals to live in nature almost as if they were wild. We challenge this with our pig herd, and its very visible!
Our pigs are born at West Wind Acres in fresh pastures or woodlots! They forage on plants, and root around for tasty morsels, and they are supplemented with non-gmo grains. They can waddle around as they please, bask in the sun, wallow in the mud, or rest under the shade of a tree.
These pigs just happen to provide us with excellent pork. Their pork is well marbled, yet lean, firm but tender, moist, and full of amazing flavors. Want to buy some? We are accepting pre-orders for late summer and fall pigs!
